First Post
We have to come up with 60 fast and 60 slow songs to be played at our wedding reception, and I've only been able to come up with 25 or so for my side. Suggestions on good romantic songs, both slow & fast, are most welcome!

We like:
Swing & Big Band
Jazz (me)
Blues (me)
Rockabilly (him)
80s rock (him - bleh)
Soft rock
Film soundtracks & showtunes (me)

As you can see, our tastes are a little different. Any suggestions in those genres would be most appreciated!

More Than Word by Extreme
Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse
You're The Inspiration by Chicago
Almost Paradise by Mike Reno (from Loverboy) and Ann Wilson (from Heart)
Listen To Your Heart by Heart (or D.H.T)
Love Will Keep Us Alive by Eagles

If by Blues you also means R&B:
Always by Atlantic Starr
Always and Forever by Heatwave
At Last by Etta James

Easy Listening, Swing, and Big Band:
All the Way by Frank Sinatra (or James Darren)
The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra (or James Darren)

This might a little 'hard' but my husband and I's wedding song (slow) was Moltey Crue's "Withuout You." The words are what made us pick it.

But there's also (slow-wise):

Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight"
Tim McGraw & Faith Hil "It's your Love."

These probably fit you categories:

'Still Got the Blues' by Gary Moore
'Jessie' by Joshua Kaddisson
'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica

These are probably heavier than you're looking for, but I thought I'd mention them anyway ('cause IMO they're great songs):

'Stand Inside Your Love' by The Smashing Pumpkins
'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns n' Roses

Just off the top of my head-

"Longer" Dan Fogleberg
Somewhat obscure:
"If ever I would leave you" from Camelot
Very Obscure:
"The first time I loved forever." The theme from the TV show Beauty and the Beast, played as an instrumental can't be beat.
