FantaSAGA or D&D using Star Wars Saga edition.

After Star Wars Saga edition came out I found myself preferring the system to D&D3.5. As such, I started running test games to see how well the rules held up. The only changes made were using the D&D weapons list and some changes to the Jedi Class. I gave the Jedi the lowest hd & BaB, and changed the lightsaber abilities to reflect magic staves. The Jedi was now a sorcerer; free to take force powers and give them the flavor they preferred so long as it fit within the mechanical rules, e.g. force choke was a lifeleech spell for one player, and Force Haze was invisibility for another.

Anyway, I've now been running a continuing game for a couple of months now, and was curious if anyone else has attempted the same. Here are a few example creatures built using Saga rules:

Desert- May reroll Survival checks made to endure extreme heat, keeping the better result.

Then you might like 4e since the new Star Wars rules are based on those material being [secretly] developed since 2005.
 

Oh, yeah. I'm extremely excited and anticipating 4e. Until then, this has proven quite a decent experience.
 







Some great links there, man! Thanks! I was more just using Saga as is, where Gneech completely rewrote the book. I'll definitely have a long look at his stuff!
