Essentials Character Sheet Template?

Anyone created or know about a word or fill-able .pdf template version of the character sheets used in the Game Day and/or Encounters? I know Wizards has the pregen .pdfs (e.g. Ander the Halfling Rogue) but I was looking for blank version I can use for my PCs, who prefer that format to the CB sheets. Thanks in advance - if no one has one, I can get to one, but I hope there is already one out there. I saw links to the others, but I am looking specifically for the pregen versions. Thanks!

Here you go:

I'll warn you that if you print it on a black and white printer, some of the fields are annoying (the words Modifier and Check dominate the boxes when printed, making it tough to write your actual modifier and skill check values in them).

Edit: Never mind - you wanted the pregen templates. Sorry, that's not this! This is the Red Box / Heroes of the Fallen Lands character sheet. Oops!

Well because you asked so nicely, here's a set of word (.doc) character sheets I made up this week for Encounters. It has a version for each Essentials class (including the Executioner Assassin). If you want to use it for other classes or higher levels, you can modify it.
Word of caution, be careful if you want to move the Trained Skills box around, it can make the column under Initiative disappear for some reason.

Wow, that's why I love this place so much. My PCs will truly appreciate it. Huge +++ is the assassin you posted I can plug and play for a game I play in this Friday.

Thanks for the link. I've looked into your's before and my new players found it a bit too complicated. They are looking for something more simple to get them into the game. Most of what I got from them was that your sheet had very few hard breaks (lines, boxes, etc) the way it printed, which made it a bit harder for them to follow. For more experienced characters, I think it is great, but for newbies like my players and I, I think its probably more upperclass d&d to our freshmen versions!

I can't attach Microsoft Publisher, so I cant really help you. But it's possible to do in publisher... I made a few for my players, and they look like this i pdf format. Sorry :.-(

Essentials Character Sheet - MS Excel (.xls) Format

I've worked up the beginnings of an Excel-based Essentials Character Sheet. I originally built it in MS Excel 2007, then saved it as .xls instead of .xlsx and completed it in Oracle OpenOffice 3.

At the moment I've got it down that the number-crunching gets done off to the side, and the final calculated values get shown on the "character sheet" portion of the worksheet, which you can then print or use on a laptop or whatever. I've got check boxes for Trained skills, but I really don't know how to sync it up so that clicking a box actually factors a +5 into the check result.

I've attached it to this post. If anyone would like to mess around with it and make it better, I'm all for it so long as you freely post your revisions/upgrades.
