Entangle vs. Plant creatures

Entangle Spell causes vines and branches and etc to entangle creatures. What happens when you cast entangle on a plant creature that uses its own vine-like arms (Willow Tree Warrior from Creature Catalog) to entangle and constrict? Does it entangle itself?

Not that this really mattered in the encounter I ran, because there were plenty of other plants around, but it is a fun visual question.

In visual terms, I'd describe it as bits of the plant wrapping around itself, along with other vegetation in the area. In game-mechanical terms, it would be the same as what's in the book.

What hong said. Entangle used on a plant creature is no mechanically different than using it on a non-plant creature. It's just more flavorful in the first case, since you get to see the plant touch itself in a naughty way.

You know, guys: I am used to all that fantasy art and fan fic involving busty females in revealing armour. I can see elf chicks, drady, nymphs, succubi, demon ladies. I have even come to terms with hentacle demons and Japanese schoolgirls.

But plant porn is new to me. It takes all kinds, I guess .



But actually, I'd have said something like the others: The plants entangle each other, it all looks like you stumbled into some private plant moments, but otherwise, it works just like with everything else.
