Asmor

First Post
Anyone interested in working on an Eberron -> Savage Worlds conversion?

I've moved everything to a tiddlywiki.

Most recent changes
*Filled in a lot of dragonmark powers
*Added some info for dragonmarks
*Stipulated that kalashtar don't need to make a check to mindlink
[sblock=Previous changes]*Minor formatting changes, added new edges for shfiters and warforged, changed warforged (-1 armor bonus, free d6 vigor, one less benny per session).
*Added changelings, kalashtar and shifters[/sblock]

I felt people were pretty close with E6erron, I don't know if there are lessons to be learned from those guys. 4E6erron will be even closer, I imagine.

I'm not familiar with E6erron (not that the name leaves much to the imagination :)) and it's not immediately obvious to me what you mean when you say that they're pretty close with it... I'm assuming you mean that E6erron would convert more easily to Savage Worlds than stock Eberron. Care to elaborate?

Also: Added racial stats for changelings, kalashtar and shifters. Next up I'll probably work on some racial edges like Adamantine Body and some shifter things.

This is vexing... I've got hours to kill between classes and wanted to work on edges for the dragonmarks, but my ECS is at home.

No good!

I'm excited about this project. I love Eberron and I love Savage Worlds.

Well, please, feel free to submit or critique things! I'm just beginning with Savage Worlds myself (I've run 2 and a half sessions of it so far, never played), so I don't really know what works and what doesn't. Plus, this is a big project, too big for one man (never mind for me ;)).

Added some dragonmark stuff. Browsing through the Savage Worlds Explorer's Edition book, it's looking like I'm going to have to create a whole lotta new powers...

I'm trying to stick close to the intent of the house, rather than making the translations for dragonmarks as literally as possible. For example, the Mark of Storm in D&D gives +2 on balance checks (incidentally, wtf is up with that?), but given that they're the ones known best for elemental vessels I think a bonus on piloting, driving or boating works best.

Savage Worlds is constructed of 100% awesome, IMO. This is a cool project, and I look forward to checking it out. Might be the impetus to wipe the dust of my copy of Eberron and start reading it again.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm a major attention whore, so people telling me that they're enjoying my work is a big boost. :) At least I'm honest. ;)

I've fleshed out the dragonmarks a lot more, and have added 6 new powers. Still quite a bit to go...

Question: Would you prefer I kept it in the format it's in currently (i.e. related things kept together, so for example the Warforged edges are in the Warforged section) or would you prefer that I grouped like things together (for example, all new powers go in a new powers section, all edges go in an edges section, etc)?
