Eberron: All About The Daelkyr

I haven't had much time for Eberron in the last few months, but I'm starting my Dragonmark posts up again. Today's topic: the Daelkyr and their Cults of the Dragon Below. Because mind flayers lobbing gooey longswords at crazy beggars is a sound foundation for a system of government... if you're from Xoriat.

What would you like to see covered in the future?
Population levels from the 3e book, of course. :)

One area I've always been interested in is Thrane. Even in 5 Nations, there's been a emphasis on the theocracy that rules Thrane and less on the general culture. I mean, the Church took over less than a hundred years ago in game time. Just judging by its position, Thrane was the heart of Galifar, with its proximity to Thronehold and not having the vast amount of frontier space of the four other kingdoms. Is there a cultural thread to Thrane outside of the Silver Flame? I've always imagined Thrane with a Renaissance Italy feel, lots of sybaritic nobles sponsoring artists and also making plays to gain power within the Church.

Ed Greenwood Presents: Elminster's Guide to the Realms, only Eberron and how you play the setting;)

Petition to make the above happen, aside and in all seriousness, I really enjoyed when you would drop hints in how your vision of Eberron was different from official print.

I think there's a lot of us that have moved on to Pathfinder but kept using Eberron as a Setting, soI'd like to know, if you have read/played Pathfinder, how do you think the new base classes (particularly the Oracle) fit in Eberron.
