A new licensed Dungeons & Dragons live experience will launch this December in Canada. First teased earlier this year, Vibrant Studios has revealed a host of details about Dungeons & Dragons: The Immersive Quest, a new "interactive experience" launching later this year in Mississauga. The new experience will set players on a "quest to recover a powerful magic gem from the clutches of a villainous dragon" and will feature immersive theatre, cinematic videos, and multimedia interactive stations. The experience will take approximately 60 minutes to complete, with a marketplace with various goods and themed food and drink also included afterwards. Of note is that the experience will be at least partially set in Waterdeep, with a recreation of The Yawning Portal Inn of some kind and the Waterdeep Market available to explore after visitors complete the experience.
Tickets range from $45.99-$89.99 CAD, although early bird discounts are currently available. The interactive experience launches on December 18th. Dungeons & Dragons: The Immersive Quest will run for four months in Mississauga before moving on to the next "North American city." More details can be found at the experience's website.
Dungeons & Dragons: The Immersive Quest is one of two upcoming D&D-themed "live experiences" coming in the next few months. Universal Studios Hollywood is also including Dungeons & Dragons as one of several franchises for its upcoming Fan Fest Nights, an after-hours event modeled after its Halloween Nights....but without the scares.
