Hey guys,

I've been playing AD&D for the better part of 15 years and when my first chance to DM came around, I realized something. Having to dig through the DMG and MM for stats and whatnot before and during the adventure sucks. So I decided to write some software to help manage the game play. I then took it to the next level and started my own site called www.demonsoftgaming.com

Looks interesting, but I simply couldn't DM like that. Being organized at the table just isn't my thing. I rely way too much on short-term memory to have a spreadsheet in front of me.

I know what you mean and I just used it for the first time a couple weeks ago in my campaign and it made life much easier. Didn't have to dig through the monstrous manual to find various monster stats and was easily able to calculate everyone's initiative and maintain turn order with the click of a button.

Agreed it's not for everyone, but for those who hate having to pause gameplay while they dig for information, this is a great solution!
