Drow translation help

Does anyone have the old 2e Drow of the Underdark book from Forgotten Realms? Could you help me translate "Better than human" into Drow?

The connotation is that there's a proto-humanoid ape-like creature, and the drow name is somewhat sarcastic because they think these creatures are "better than humans."

You mean taste-wise...?

Great. Thanks. Care to help out a bit more?

How about nice names for the following? Please include an English translation.

A hunting snake that can chase down prey like a cheetah.

A large bat creature that hunts in packs like a wolf.

A mule snake . . . a long snake beast of burden that could be ridden.

A spider swarm that acts with a hive intelligence and which act as a single huge creature with webs as muscles.

Well, unfortunately, there are no words in the Drow language for 'snake', 'bat', 'quickness', or 'speed', so most of it would have to be created. There are a few words in the book; spider is 'orbb', and ride is "z'har", but everything else will have to be created, unless you can find some sort of drow language dictionary on the web.

Hmm. Let's see.
Orbb = Spider
Dekaya = Snake*
Matar = Bat*
Z'har = Ride
Z'haren = Riding*
Jagendar = Hunting*
Ussar = Many/Group
Xund = Work
Uss = One, Izil = As, so Iziluss = As One
Those marked with a * are ones that I created with help from Google andThe Drow of the Underdark (sadly, the Menzoberranzan boxed set had no section on language).

A hunting snake that can chase down prey like a cheetah.

Jagendekaya - the combination of the words for Hunting (Jagendar) and Snake (Dekaya)

A large bat creature that hunts in packs like a wolf.

Jagenussmatar - The combination of the words for Hunting (Jagendar), Group (Ussar), and Bat (Matar)

A mule snake . . . a long snake beast of burden that could be ridden.

Z'harundekayi - A combination of the words for Riding (Z'haren), Snake (Dekaya), and Work (Xund)

A spider swarm that acts with a hive intelligence and which act as a single huge creature with webs as muscles.

Orbisarziluss - A combination of the words for Spider (Orbb), Many/Group (Ussar), and the phrase for As One (Iziluss).

Ok, the last one wasn't so good, but you get the idea. Hopefully, you can get some use out of this, and if you need any other words form the book, let me know.

Have Fun!
