Pathfinder 1E Dragonborn race for Pathfinder

So my buddy and I really like the Dragonborn race from 4E and were trying to build it for pathfinder and this is what we had come up with:

Dragonborn
Medium
Base Speed 30ft.
Darkvision 60ft.

+2 STR
+2 WIS
-2 CHA

+2 Intimidate
+2 Knowledge (history)

Militaristic:
Dragonborn characters may select a bonus combat feat at first level.

Breath weapon:
A dragonborn character begins with a breath weapon. The damage dealt by this weapon is either fire, cold, electric, or acid. When the charcter uses this ability the range is either a 15ft cone or a 30ft line chosen before the power is used. The damage and uses per day changes as the character gains levels, as follows:

Breath weapon damage and usage per day:
level 1: 1d6 1 per day
level 4: 2d6+2 1 per day
level 7: 3d6+3 2 per day
level 10:4d6+5 2 per day
level 13:5d6+6 3 per day
level 16 6d6+8 3 per day
level 19 7d6+9 4 per day

Any feedback is welcome and can hopefully make this a balanced and fun class to play.

Why did you switch the Charisma bonus into a penalty? I'd be inclined to keep it a bonus.

I don't want to make it a more powerful race, +2 to three stats is pretty awesome, a little too awesome if you ask me. I want to keep it balanced and it just seemed like the best place to put a penalty to me.

I highly recommend looking at the Dragonborn race in the book Races of the Dragon (3.5 supplement.)

I'm running a Dragonborn Cleric of Bahamut (naturally) in a Pathfinder game right now.
Will post you the stats we decided on when I get home.

Then get rid of the +2 to Wisdom, which they don't get in 4e. Maybe put the -2 on Dex. That seems lizardish to me.

This. You are making a dragon-like race, but not a Dragonborn conversation, currently.

What would be the creature type? Monstrous Humanoid?

I'm not sure it needs the +2 bonus to know (history).

Races of the Dragon specifies these racial traits:
+2 CON, -2 DEX
Humanoid (dragonblood) is the type of creature
+2 dodge to AC against dragon type creatures (based on knowledge of their abilities/workings)
Immune to frightful presence of dragons

Then you pick one Draconic Aspect--one is a breath weapon, one is wings, one is darkvision and +2 on Listen, Search, and Spot.

So, to make it Pathfinder compatible, we gave my Dragonborn a +2 on Perception (I took the aspect for darkvision and the +2 on searching skills), and to match PF ability adjustments, we added a +2 WIS, to represent the aged and studious nature of dragons.

Races of Dragon pitches the Dragonborn as a rebirth--you start as any humanoid race and, giving yourself to Bahamut and her purposes, you are reborn as one of her offspring.
There are rules in the book for becoming Dragonborn at levels past 1, so I just made the assumption that before level 1 I was human, but didn't take any of the human racials.

First of all: [Pathfinder] Golden's Guide to Race Building - Giant in the Playground Forums .
+2/+2/-2: 0 points
+2 to two skills: 2 points
Darkvision: 2 points
Bonus combat feat: Given that it's restricted to combat feats, 7 points. Unrestricted feats are 8 points, but even wizards are going to take a combat feat like Improved Initiative or Combat Casting at some point, so this is not really much of a restriction at all.

Total: 11 points, which already makes them on the high end of PC races. The breath weapon is probably 3-4 points, which is way too much power for a PC race (which should be 10 points).

On a side note, I do not like the Cha penalty. Dragons have good Charisma, and they spawned the original sorcerous bloodlines, which is a class based on charisma. I recommend +2 Str, +2 Cha, -2 Dex. You could also make a case for Int or Wis.

Excellent advice.
My DM and I talked about whether it should be +2 CHA or +2 WIS... we decided on Wisdom solely because I'm playing an older Dragonborn who is a Cleric, so it made sense.

The reason I picked charisma is in our campaign setting dragonborn are serious, blunt, and abrasive. I know the breath weapon is a big deal but I want it lol. Maybe I can figure out a way to make it a little weaker while still being useful, I'm just not sure how to do that yet.
Thank you everybody who gave suggestions especially systole with that link it is extremely useful and is now bookmarked.
