Dragonborn metal minis?

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a suitable metal miniature to represent a dragonborn paladin (Reaper etc)? My wife wants to buy one to represent her new PC and paint it herself.

Kar'Drakir, Reptus Dragonman Warrior ?

Lots of the Reptus faction from Reapers Warlord game will fit for Dragonborn (except for the tails and, well, lack of mammary glands on the female minis).

There's also the Half Dragon (DHL 3022)...

No tail on him. He's also nice if you like to do conversions or customizations (since he has an open hand). I've seen him converted into a female Dragonborn as well.

Ra'am (Reaper Warlord 14225) has "empty" hands as well (they actually have chains in them if you look close, but that should be easy enough to cover up in a conversion)...

IIRC, he was so popular as a Dragonborn that Reaper sold out of him at Gen Con.

What type of weapons and armor does her Paladin use?

I kind of like the old Ral Partha draconians. I'm using the leftmost one for my warlord (without the wings, and with a different color scheme).

I'm bookmarking this thread just on general principles!

There is a Troglodyte in Chainmail/DDM that had full metal armor and a mace or morningstar (hes either a "Trooper" or "Warrior"). The Chainmail version is metal, of course. He has a tail.

Thanks for all the suggestions! She's not generated her character yet but he (or she) will probably have a sword and shield plus heavy armour.

I'm also using a Reaper Mini (Khong-To, Reptus Warlord), for my Dragonborn Warlord. I painted him up this summer, though he has already suffered some battle damage, now that I look closely! I love that I can combine two hobbies at once; D&D and minis.
