Long Story Short-

I need to practice my writing and was hoping someone would let me post some articles on D&D on their blog or something similar. In a perfect world, they would help me edit and be involved in the writing procress.

Long Story Long-

About 12 years ago, I had a couple few articles published in small RPG publications. I don't really recall how many, but it was at least 3. I honestly don't remember ever getting rejected. Sure it happened but it was infrequent.

Over the last few months, I have submitted a few 5E articles and they have all been rejected. I went from an A to an F!

Now, I am pretty sure that both the competition has imporved and my writing has deteriorated. I have always been an idea guy and am not a strong writer. Never have been, and never will be. At my best, I am "competent" and it takes me a long time to get to that point!

So, I figure I can't make the rest of the world worse but I can improve my own wares. The only way I know to write better is to write more. I have half a dozen, half finished articles on my computer and don't have anything to do with them. I maintain a bunch of crappy web sites for work and making another one is not what I want to do with my spare time. I was hoping I could find someone to "work" with who would post some of my work. If you're interested in some "free" articles, send me a message or something.

Are you *positive* you don't just don't want to make your own wordpress or blogspot? They're free and easy to set up, with a relatively small learning curve. Well, this got me thinking i could just make a separate "roleplaying only" blog and link it to my current one, which is mainly in existence to promote some children's book i have coming up.

Hey, buddy. Been a while. This approach and the goal you seem too have are in conflict. Everyone is an idea guy. "Never have been, never will be" aren't good starting points for getting where you want to go. Don't be so hard on yourself and good luck with the improvement. Nobody who writes is ever done becoming a better writer.

I could post some of your stuff on my blog. Mine is mostly conversion stuff from old editions. I usually only have time to write up posts on weekends, and having some stuff ready to go mid week would be nice.

Check out my blog and see if it matches...

Drop me a message and we'll get things rolling.

If you want lots of people to read and respond, a forum like this one is probably your best bet. No sense in deliberately isolating your posts!

I'll echo this. Just post the articles in the forums here, one per week or whatever. Or (or additionally) on something like Reddit, in /r/DnD or a similar subreddit.

I'd be happy to put your articles on my blog, or just look them over and give you some feedback, but at the moment my blog is primarily OSR/Swords & Wizardry oriented, though this will change in the future (since I DM 5e now).

What/where have you submitted these recent articles to? I wasn't aware anyone was really accepting 5e articles for something like publication, particularly since there's no license for it.
