So the spell allows you to detect the presence of celestials, fey, abberations, etc etc.

The question, does the spell detect WHICH of those is there? (aka I can tell there is an aberration nearby). Or does it leave it generic (I know a celestial or fey or abberation or XYZ is nearby, but can't tell the actual type).

On a success, you sense the creature’s presence, as well as where the creature is located.

By a strict reading of the wording, the answer seems to be only the location of the creature.

I'm in agreement with his majesty JL. You'll know that something outside of the natural world is about, but not what.

I'd name it something else for any game I might run though. "Sense of the Other" maybe.
