Deragatory Terms for Warforged?

reveal

Adventurer
There are many warforged who feel strongly that the Lord of Blades is right, warforged should rise up, yadda yadda yadda.

On the other hand, there are many warforged who adventure with "fleshies," meaningfully contribute to society, work in shops throughout Khorvaire, yadda yadda yadda.

In certain real world cultures, people who feel that people of their own race/religion/gender have "sold out" if they do certain things and don't "keep it real" for lack of a better term call others nasty names like "Uncle Tom" or something like that.

Which got me thinking; what would a warforged who believed in the LoB call a warforged who did not? One term I've come up with is "House 'forged" like the term given to slaves in the US who worked in the house as opposed to the fields. Anyone else?

Please keep it clean and civil.

"Tool" is too perfect, so I'm not going to suggest anything else.

For derogatory names aimed at warforged by fleshies, you might try "clankers" or "bucketheads".

Flesh-lover (self-explanatory)
Sightless (haven't seen the light)
Wielded (as a tool by the 'fleshies')

And as the others have said, Enkhidu's 'tool' is just perfect.

"Tool" is perfect. However, not everyone's smart enough to recognize a perfect term when they see one, and some will try to come up with stuff on their own... er, NPCs will try, I mean. Of course.

So, alternatives to keep your WF players amused / offended:

(from Warforged):
- Private (implying both low rank and that they serve a human army. The long form is "Yes Sir, Private Property!")
- Hoe (implying "tool", and gardening -- which benefits only humans, and something dirty)
- Cleaver (implies "tool", and that your job is to fight, and that you're "cleaving" to the role and people who created you)
- Monkey (implies that you're trying to "ape" a bunch of primates)

Property (and usually call the humans alongside it "owners")

Stillforged (as in stillborn)

Blunt (as in forged with no edge)

Toy

In my (short-lived) Eberron campaign, players came up with "Clunks" and "Screwheads".

On the other hand, "Tool" rocks. Nice one.
