Dell DJ anyone?

Hello people. I wanted to check here (a community I have faith in) and see if anyone had some experience with the Dell DJ MP3 players. They're fairly new, they're not iPods, but I'm considering getting one for my girl for Xmas. I like the iPods okay, but I'm watching costs, and the Dells have me tempted.

Anyone tried them so far? I've looked to some other venues, but there's a lot of misleading flamewars between the Apple/PC community that are muddying the waters. Thanks!

I've never used an iPod, but I've had my DJ for about three weeks now. Honestly, I love it. It really DOES hold a 16hr charge, and with a minor purchase of a tape-adapter at Wal-Mart, I can cart my entire CD library with me where ever I go. I find the interface pretty intuitive and song lists are easy to build and load.

One thing I have NOT done yet is spend a lot of time at the MusicMatch online store. So far I've just been putting on stuff I already have off CDs. I've looked at the website, and it SEEMS to be pretty easy to use, but I can't compare it to the iPod stuff.

From what I've seen, your decision might come down to what your lady uses as her home computer, Mac or PC?
