I somehow Delayed Blast Fireball using?



Like a my Wizard who used the time stop spell (9º level) and while time is stopped, using Delayeds Blast Fireballs. Its Possbile ?

But there somehow and I drop more than one spell during the time stop spell?

You can cast as many spells as you have time to in the 1d4+1 turns, but you can only maintain concentration on one spell that requires it at a time.

Ok, but if one speaks the magic effect any affect an enemy spell is canceled. So I can not drop multiple fireballs.

I found a very weak magic with this restriction !!!

I'm not exactly certain I understand what you are saying.

Cast Delayed Blast Fireball, followed by a Forcecage around a creature, and then a Word of Recall on your whole party.

Can't see what's wrong with that.

Yes you basically can't go nova on a creature using Time Stop like you could in earlier editions. I see this as a feature, not a bug. Now maybe Time Stop shouldn't be a 9th level spell any more but that's another discussion.

I've never been a fan. It was OP before, and now it's so situational it's almost pointless.

Fiddling with time is just a bad idea from a game design perspective.
