DC movie line up for the next few years

While having James Gunn attached to that movie is certainly a plus, I'll reserve any excitement till they announce the new cast. Because surely no one from the previous movie will want to make that mistake again? Wonder Woman 2 could be good, if they keep the same director and writers. Joker and The Batman? Probably not going to be very good.

They have to do something fresh with The Batman. The story and the character both are getting so stale and rehashed it is really hard to get excited by it.

From what I've read online, they want to make it more detective than action. I like that idea.

Depends on who's Batman and what they do with it.

Right now, zero interest in Joker or the Batman Movie.

I have interest in a Suicide Squad 2. James Gunn directing makes it have some hope behind it.

Birds of Prey may be interesting.

I thought Aquaman was actually kind of silly. I'm not really excited about Aquaman 2.

No interest in Shazam. The commercials make it look really dumb.

Which leaves, basically Wonder Woman 2 (1984).

It looks like the only movies on the list that I am interested in seeing (at least until more information comes out) currently are WW and SS.

Considering you had Abrams do both Star Wars and Star Trek, having Gunn do an MCU and DCU movie doesn't seem like a stretch.

I imagine that the circle of people interested in directing a superhero movie is fairly small and probably a lot more friendly than fans.

Zack Snyder talks about what was supposed to happen. He spends most of the video beating around the bush, but does get into some details at the end.

Edit: so apparently, for whatever reason, the video got taken down. Here's another video from the same event (with discussion at the end about what he said).
