Is it possible to use normal 3.5E monsters (for example, from the MM) with d20 Modern? Is there a conversion guide or no changes are necessary?

I have used not only regular DnD monsters but d20 CoC monsters in a d20M game. My experiance is that monsters generally dont last long enough to be worth a great deal of conversion. The main things you need to watch out for are DR and SR and any special vunerabilities or resistances for these things effect CR assumptions. Undead, for example, are automatically tougher without turning while something with a vunerability to cold, for example, probablly should be a higher CR if there are no spellcasters.

Basically, given the wide range of campaign types in Modern you simply need to think carefully about how a particular creature fits into your world and play style and gauge its CR accordingly.
