Thrown weapons are strength, not dex. Otherwise yes.
This is, strictly speaking, not entirely correct.
Melee thrown weapons without the finesse property (Handaxe, Javelin, Light Hammer, Spear, Trident) use Strength.
Melee thrown weapons with the finesse property (Dagger) use the player's choice of Strength or Dexterity, as specified in both the Finesse and Thrown explanations.
Ranged thrown weapons without the finesse property (Net) use Dexterity (Ranged weapon attacks normally use Dexterity, as stated in the Attack Roll section of Making an Attack. While, as stated, weapons with the Finesse and/or Thrown properties break this rule, the Thrown property only applies to melee weapons- and thus wouldn't affect the net.).
Ranged thrown weapons with the finesse property (Dart) use the player's choice of Strength or Dexterity, as specified in the Finesse explanation.
When a monk not wearing armor or wielding a shield throws a Handaxe, Javelin, Light Hammer, or Spear, they can choose to use Dexterity instead of Strength because of their Martial Arts. If, however, said monk does wear armor or wield a shield, then they must use Strength when they throw any of those four weapons.
