Crazy/cool names of real-world places

So what sort of places have you either seen in real life or at least seen on a map that had such a crazy/cool name that you couldn't forget it?

Here in Tennessee we have towns called
1.Skull Bone
2. Buck Snort

In the past I've seen or heard of towns called
1. Hell's Kitchen
2. Leaper's Fork (a very, very small thorp)

On maps and in history books I've seen places like:
1. Grave's End
2. Dum-Dum (in India)

So what sort of crazy/cool names of real towns have you seen or heard of?

I had a business for several years in a town called Black Mountain, which I thought was very cool. The original name of the town was Grey Eagle, too.

Torpenhow Hill in England. What's so crazy about that? Well, it comes from tor (OE) + penn (Celtic) + ho'h (OE). All of those mean "hill". The story is that successive invaders tacked on their word for hill to the name. Similar are Venlaw Hill in Scotland and Creechbarrow Hill in Hants. There's also a Alice Holt Hurst Wood (wood wood wood).

I've always been fond of Djibouti.

About an hour from my hometown, Beaumont, TX (Beaumont means beautiful mountain, and we're on a coastal plain), there's a town called

Cut'n'Shoot

God, I love Texas.

I can't believe that nobody's mentioned Death Valley. Also, the town outside it The Gateway to Death Valley, which I think is even cooler. Central and Northern California have all kinds of towns with cool names. The Devil's Stones (a sort of mini-Stone Henge) is one.
