Cowboy Bebop has the best ending ever

The last three episodes can get me all choked up. There must be a rule somewhere that the end of television shows (anime or otherwise) cannot be this good. It makes me want to sit down and watch the whole series over again.

Just thought I'd share.

it was definitely an anime ending. something like that produced in the US wouldn't have ended that way, i'm sure...

It really is the best ending ever isn't it. I just like to watch that last episode over and over...it's great. It's really, really great. The characterization, the lines, and especially, especially the music (Yoko Kanno is a goddess of music, I swear).

Edit: Oh, and I picked Black Adder because I've seen it and not B5. I don't want to give you any false impressions of what the ending's like.
