Cost of a Potion of Enlarge

Hi,

Can someone explain why the 1st lvl spell enlarge person as a potion cost 350 gold, the same with potion of reduce person when other 1st lvl potions are 50gp. Does the Potion of Enlarge and Reduce last 5 time? Have they been created by a 5th level casters?

It's either a hold over from 3e where they did cost 250 gp at caster level 5, or they are presently at caster level 5 as well, hence lasting 5 minutes. By the book it should only cost 50 gp as for Reduce Person, so you can assume the 250 gp one lasts 5 minutes.

Yes, in 3.0 they had to be at 5th caster level to get a significant benefit. The potion profiles were not changed when 3.5 changed those spells.
