D&D (2024) Conjure Animals size 20 by 20 or something else?

What is the size of the aoe a 20 ft square, or 30 foot or 25 foot. Please show your work. Thanks.

You conjure nature spirits that appear as a large pack of spectral, intangible animals in an unoccupied space you can see within range. The pack lasts for the duration, and you choose the spirits’ animal form, such as wolves, serpents, or birds.

You have Advantage on Strength saving throws while you’re within 5 feet of the pack, and when you move on your turn, you can also move the pack up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.

Whenever the pack moves within 10 feet of a creature you can see and whenever a creature you can see enters a space within 10 feet of the pack or ends its turn there, you can force that creature to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 3d10 Slashing damage. A creature makes this save only once per turn.

Your quote wasn't quite right (bold added) "You conjure nature spirits that appear as a Large pack..." Since "Large" is capitalized that's the size, 10x10.

I may not have understood the question, but since the pack itself is 10 by 10, the area of effect of spell, which is affecting anyone within 10 feet of the pack, and the pack itself being 10x10, the effective AoE is 30 by 30. P is a square covered by the pack, A is a square within range (Adjacent):

A A A A A A
A S S S S A
A S P P S A
A S P P S A
A S S S S A
A A A A A A

With the S square being where you get a bonus to STR saving throws.

Sorry if I completely missed the question.

We were worried about the REACH of the pack. And the bold dropped off "Large" somewhere in this morning's typing before 7 AM. but thanks Big Green J for the answer.
this came up last night in my group. I called a 20 foot AOE initial since the player insisted it started with just dot he could place anywhere.
then over an hour in after 40 dead monsters he want to change the size. I said we would keep my ruling for the night. And ask the internet in the morning.
And we both missed the one save per round.

I need to stop answering questions before I wake up in the morning.

The pack is not a swarm, it appears to be treated as a single creature that occupies the interior 10x10 area that has two overlapping emanations. The first emanation within 5 feet gives the caster advantage of strength saving throws. The second is anything within 10 feet.

So if S is slashing damage on a failed save, C is the creature and A is advantage for the caster
