D&D 5E Confusion about spells and actions

Is it true that you can potentially cast 3 spells in a round as a wizard if you use one as an action, one as a reaction, and one as a bonus action?

If it is true, how would it work? Can i get an example? What spells could do this cast in what action category.

Would warcaster help?

Yes, depending on the spells.

Example. I cast Firebolt cantrip (action). Enemy wizard casts counterspell. I counterspell the counterspell (reaction). I cast Shadow Blade (Bonus action).

Note that there is a rather strange rule that if you cast a spell with a bonus action you can only cast cantrips with your action.

Does warcaster increase the number of spells i can use in a round?

It states (as a contradiction to an implied norm) that with that feat i can use a spell with a casting time of 1 action as a bonus action.

When a hostile creature's movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell at the creature, rather than making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.

Sorry. I misremembered.

U use your reaction. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action.

No. The condition for an opportunity attack remains the same (some feats, like Sentinel, can help). The range of the spell has no effect.
I think the thing you said about range is correct but i just noticed something in the wording of this feat.

Its NOT an opportunity attack. Its made instead of an opportunity attack. Interesting...

So how does this affect action economy?

My turn Action, bonus action, their turn reaction (using a spell with action casting time)?

Is there a scenario in which i can get more than one reaction? Like, i react to being attacked, then someone provokes an attack of opportunity by moving away? Would that result in two reactions?
