A friend of mine worked on some of them, and I'd like to complete the set.

I'm currently trying to complete my collection. One thing that's been bothering me. WHY THE **** IS THE OLD REPUBLIC BOOK GOING FOR $100 + ??? It's ridiculous. Before anyone comes in here to say it's because the MMO, it's not. It's been like that for the better part of a year or more now.

This list is missing the Star Wars Galaxy Tiles. Those aren't a book, but neither is the Star Wars Gamesmaster Screen .

I'm currently trying to complete my collection. One thing that's been bothering me. WHY THE **** IS THE OLD REPUBLIC BOOK GOING FOR $100 + ??? It's ridiculous. Before anyone comes in here to say it's because the MMO, it's not. It's been like that for the better part of a year or more now.

There's a $50 and an $80 one being auctions now on eBay. And a $15 one being auctioned in the UK.

The "Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide" and the "Starships of the Galaxy" books are the only two that sold out their original print runs. I guess they're just very popular subjects.

And that, of course, means that they're hard to find - there's very little supply, and quite a number of people demanding them.

(It doesn't help that Star Wars stuff generally becomes quite expensive over time, as the collectors gradually lock down all the available copies.)

I completed my collection last year.
You have to have watch for deals to pop up.
Knights of the Old Republic was my most expensive one at $75, and Starships I got lucky and found two copies. One for $60 and than one on Craigslist for $15. I got both of them and sold the one to a friend of mine for a few boxes of plastic crack.
