Hello! I'm new to D&D and I want to make a cleric in the community domain for the campaign because it fits most with their god and what I had in mind for the character! I wanted to know if the community domain can still be used in 5e since my friend and I can't really find much information on the domain in general nor is it mentioned in the handbook.

There are a couple examples that you can find on the DMGuild.
Are you talking about dmsguild.com? Because I can only find a PDF that I have to buy in order to read. I don't see anything else regarding it.

I found two documents on http://www.dmsguild.com/browse.php?keywords=COmmunity+Cleric&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto=&x=0&y=0 and both are only "Pay What You Want". I realize we often want what we can get for free but this is nearly free and a fairly simple, straight-forward transaction. It's where I get information that isn't otherwise published like what you are seeking.
You can also go onto the Unearthed Arcana subreddit and do a search there, and you'll find a lot of different homebrewed material, including a Community Domain for the Cleric. These are mainly beta versions of things that eventually might show up on DMs Guild, but at least you can take a look at things to see if they look like they work for you.
