Pathfinder 1E Climbing a Rope in Pathfinder--Not a Wall

What would the DC be to climb a suspended rope in Pathfinder?

Climb skill details

The PC's will most likely be climbing the rope either:

A) hanging from something, unsupported; or
B) near a wall

The rules seem to apply only to climbing a wall while using a rope. This might not be the case.

You might want to check the table at the right hand of the page you referenced.

DC Example Surface or Activity
0 A slope too steep to walk up, or a knotted rope with a wall to brace against.
5 A rope with a wall to brace against, or a knotted rope, or a rope affected by the rope trick spell.
10 A surface with ledges to hold on to and stand on, such as a very rough wall or a ship’s rigging.
15 Any surface with adequate handholds and footholds (natural or artificial), such as a very rough natural rock surface or a tree, or an unknotted rope, or pulling yourself up when dangling by your hands.

Want to go up a plain rope, all on its own? DC 15. Right there.

It wasn't there earlier!

Okay, this is what I get for posting while hungry/in a hurry to go out to dinner. I miss the obvious.

Let's just go on with our lives and pretend this never happened. :o

Thanks.
