D&D 5E Channel Divinity for a Conjuration cleric

So, I've been working on a few homebrew projects(I'll put 'em up on here once their done), one of which is a Cleric subclass I'm calling the Creation domain. As the title of this thread says, this is a conjurer cleric. I've got a good idea of what I want to with it, but I'm running head first into a brick wall when it comes to the Channel Divinity. I can't think of anything that wouldn't be either broken, underwhelming, or step on the toes of any spells(some of which I am planning on making domain spells)/abilities of other classes(I'm thinking the straight up Conjurer in particular.)

Just so you guys have a rough reference, here's some of the things I'm planning on putting in, or at least the stuff I think would be relevant to figuring this out.

1st level ability- 1, maybe 2, free Conjuration cantrips from any list + Heavy Armor.

Just so you know, these abilities, and the spells, are not set in stone. I like what I have here currently, but it is not immune to change. With that, any ideas?

This sounds more like a caster type cleric to me as it seems like a cleric who summons up minions to do the fighting for them. Instead of heavy armour I would leave them with the cantrips and then give them Potent Spellcasting (+Wisdom mod. to cantrips) at level 8.

For the channel divinity, perhaps something that can be expended to buff their summoned minions? Or an ability that lets them conjure an animal spirit that grants a bonus to an ally or a penalty to a foe for 1 round. Something like "Go for the eyes, Boo!": Conjure a miniature giant space hamster that attacks the eyes of an enemy in range, the enemy has disadvantage on all attack rolls and dexterity checks and saving throws until the end of your next turn.

Something else, Expend one use of channel divinity to maintain concentration on a conjuration effect until the start of your next turn as a bonus action. This allows you to cast another concentration spell without losing concentration on your conjuration spell. At the start of your next turn you must either expend an additional use of channel divinity or stop maintaining concentration on one of your spells.

Conjuration is also the school of teleportation (At least I think it still is). Perhaps a misty step ability or the ability to open a portal between 2 points within 15 feet of each other.

Thanks, great ideas. I think I might use the concentration one, hit the others are interesting to think about, and good point with the armor.
