I think of the gigantic corpse golem on the front cover.
I think of a bunch of kooky npc mages.
I think of the werewolf pursuing the sorceress.
I think of the Death Demon in the basement.

The Collosus.

All around nasty and inconvenient monsters all over the place.

The giant on the cover. I think it was some sort of mega-golem.

Yeah, the colossus, the death demon, the lupins ("what, the flower lupin?") the grab grass, vampire roses, the beast of Eibon. But most particularly the fly. The one at the end encased in amber that a PC gets turned into by a cursed scroll (iirc). Which another PC then frees, squashes and uses as a spell component. Always the fly.

(Quasqueton, X2 is the "Classic Adventure" thread I waited for the most... )
