Can you move a sensor created by the Clairaudience/clairvoyance spell?

Hello again. I've noticed that the spell has a time limit of several minutes, but the range if specific to places/things known or obvious destinations (other side of a door).

Can the sensor be moved to scout further on?

The spell description is prety clear on this:

Clairaudience/clairvoyance creates an invisible magical sensor at a specific location that enables you to hear or see (your choice) almost as if you were there. You don’t need line of sight or line of effect, but the locale must be known-a place familiar to you or an obvious one. Once you have selected the locale, the sensor doesn’t move, but you can rotate it in all directions to view the area as desired. Unlike other scrying spells, this spell does not allow magically or supernaturally enhanced senses to work through it. If the chosen locale is magically dark, you see nothing. If it is naturally pitch black, you can see in a 10- foot radius around the center of the spell’s effect. Clairaudience/clairvoyance functions only on the plane of existence you are currently occupying.

Hope that helps.

Does anyone else think it's silly to take 10 minutes to cast a spell which lasts 1 minute/level? It essentially makes the spell useless for the tasks it's designed for, which is to spy on people and conversations. Want to know what the spy is telling the king's adviser? Well, you'd better know exactly what time the spy is turning up and get there ahead of him. Want to know how many guards there are in the next room? Better hope none of them come out and spot you while you're casting the damn spell. Casting time should be 1 round, or 1 minute at most.

Cheers, Al'Kelhar
