D&D (2024) can people give themselves Heroic inspiration with musician feat?

From the online discussion it sounds like the Musician feat allows you to hand out PB heroic inspiration as part of a short rest. Can you give it to yourself or is it only other players?

I haven't seen the wording, so this is purely opinion and not RAW, but I would not allow it. Music to inspire seems very much intended to inspire others.

Still, I'm curious as to the wording.

The Rules Glossary defines Ally with several criteria, one of which is "a member of your adventuring party", which when taken literally would include the player character. Common sense would imply that you cannot be your own Ally, but the literal wording of the book implies that you can. So I dunno

I seem to vaguely recall Jeremy Crawford saying you count as your own ally at some point. But, I don’t remember where, and I think it’s dumb, so I’m gonna go with no, you can’t inspire yourself with musician.

Late coming back on this one, but Inspiring Leader has a specific addition that the bonus can be given to allies including yourself, so with the lack of that in Musician you're probably out of luck.
