Depends on the god.
A cleric of Zeus might be pompous and authoritative but encouraged to marry and have many children.
A cleric of Thor might be loud and rambunctious and prone to fits of anger.
A cleric of Raijin/ Rayden might be a musician who carries a drumset.
A cleric of Kord might be boastful and strong, prone to acts of competition and bravery.

Stolid, careful and methodical. As an expert, he knows that each thunderhead that rolls in, each lightning bolt that lashes down, is specifically and deliberately placed in response to a whole range of complex conditions and circumstances. They only appear random and arbitrary to the uninitiated.

Diffident, perhaps a bit self-effacing or risk adverse, except when calling the storms or preaching. Then they are full of thunder and lightning, channeling their god in full-on mode, full of power, spit and vinegar. Goes from a warm spring drizzle to an unexpected thunderstorm themselves.

I was thinking a bit like Two-Face from Batman. Someone who is nice enough and gets along but can can be prone to lash out and bring the thunder when needed, but maybe a bit less flipping the coin thing. You want someone that can get along with the rest of the group and players themselves, but can have moments where you steal the show without hogging it.

I’m thinking a tempest cleric is an embodiment of the wrath of god. They are there to make an example out of the most vile to keep the good from turning bad and the bad from turning into the worst.
They guide people into avoiding the wrath of god but also call it down themselves as agents of their god.
I think this concept sounds very fun. It gives me a purpose that isn’t always death and destruction but also allows me to operate In that capacity when desired. Ill dilligently look for signs from the gods and warn others when the signs point toward wrath. I don’t have to worry about being a goody goody but I’m still good and not evil.
I’ll be a bit preachy and offer plenty of wise sounding one liners. Ill be agreeable and free flowing for the most part as it’s not my concern to punish every little misdeed. My purpose is reveal the wrath of god and push those around me toward avoiding it.
