Best Headphones For TV Watching?

I'm looking into headphones I can use when I don't want to disturb my mom or sleeping nephew in the adjacent room. Money isn't really a factor (this would be coming out of my inheritance money, which I'm not allowed to touch until I upgrade my TV), so I'm not looking for a good pair in a specific price range but the absolute, hands down, best heaphones suited for this. Any help is appreciated.

Consumer Reprts gives it's highest ratings to the Bose QuietComfort 2 headphones.

About $300 but if cash really isn't an issue they look like a great set.

I have a pair of wireless Dolby Digital headphones. I live in an apartment but like to listen to movies with lots of explosions and stuff really loud. These have been a godsend.
