Alaxk Knight of Galt
First Post
Haven't seen a spell that does this. The idea was sparked after my bard was unable to overcome the noise in a crowded arena to anounce the party. Any thoughts on this would be great
Booming Voice
Illusion (Figment)
Level: Brd2, Cleric2
Components: V (DF for Clerics)
Casting Time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Personal
Effect: Burst 400ft + 40 ft/level
Duration: 1 round/level or until Speach Ends
Saving Throw: None/Special
Spell Resistance: No
This spell amplifies the caster's voice to that of a booming loud speaker. Dispite any surrounding noise, the caster's voice can be heard. Every living creature in the effects area hears the caster's message. Anyone sleeping (non-magical sleep only) must make a will save or be awaken if they can hear the Booming Voice.
Despite the vocal requirement, this spell can be attempted in a silenced (or similar) region. If so, the caster makes a dispell check (1d20 + Caster Level - max +10). The DC is 11+caster level. If successful, the silence spell is broken and Booming Voice had it's normal effect.
