Aspect of Tiamat

Um, the various aspects of Tiamat in the Miniatures Handbook, Races of the Dragon, Dragon Magic, and Fiendish Codex II web enhancement all have far lower CRs, not beyond 12 IIRC. The closest to a CR 24 aspect is her "mortal" stats in Manual of the Planes, which isn't an aspect but the Queen of Evil Dragons herself, before she ascended to godhood (at least, that's how I see it).

Plus, using the material here, it should be fairly simple to get what you need yourself. Maybe not absolutely elementary, but something will come of it that should eat PCs with ease.

The only one of those book I own is FC2 for which I neglected to get the web enhancement you mentioned. I will look for now. Any idea what her CR is in the products you mentioned?

Thanks,

Haha, thanks but I would settle for making them piss thier pants instead rather than making the PCs snack food. :D

Wow, that CR13 version in the FC2 web enhancement seems really watered down all in all pretty disappointing. I will have to see if I can lay my hands on a friends copy of Races of the Dragon and hope it has a better/more advanced version.

Races of the Dragon doesn't have an aspect of tiamat in it.

Dragon Magic has a CR 13 aspect of tiamat.

What you want is an advanced aspect by the notes on p 141 of FC2.

For a CR 19 tiamat, this would give her 18 HD (with appropriate advancement), SR 32, +2 to all ability scores, and some spell-like abilities (blasphemy and unholy aura at will are the key ones).
Plus other spell like abilities or special powers at your option.

I think that part of the confusion here lies in the differing uses of the term "Aspect."

Aspects used to be versions of the deity that were used to allow PCs to interact with PCs. They were a reaction to the stats in Gods, Demigods & Heroes that created a lot of the "my character killed Thor, Odin and Zeus." The concept was that the "stats" weren't the real god, they were just "aspects" of the god and the god was untouched. They had the consciousness of the god, in a sense (i.e. if you were talking to one, you were talking to the god). The term was synonymous with "avatar."

With the Miniatures Handbook" they created the new concept of "aspects." These were visually the same of the deity, but were only a tiny fraction of their power. They weren't the "deity on earth" that earlier editions called Aspects, but more like servants with the look and general feel of the deity (Orcus would probably have a deadly wand, Demogorgon had two brains, etc). I think it was mostly so the cool god/demon lord/demon prince miniatures might actually see some play at the table.

Sometime recently the two variations got confused. Aspects went back to the old definition, while the new one was still floating around. Suddenly these servants were expected to have power close to that of the original. I suspect it was just the mixing of the old avatar & aspect terms (combined with the FC web enahncements introduction of more powerful aspects).
