D&D 5E Are Gargoyles, Elementals in general and Lycanthropes affected by sleep spell?

Hi everybody, pretty much what the title says: using the RAW, are Gargoyles and Elementals affected by Sleep Spell? It affects, if I'm not wrong, creatures who can be charmed: are Elementals considered creatures that can be charmed? And what about shapechangers as Lycanthropes?
In the campaign I'm running as a DM the adventurers are going to meet and probably fight Gargoyles, Elementals and a Wererat, and the Sorcerer has just selected the Sleep Spell as her new spell.
I need to know if, according to RAW, she can affect those monsters with that spell.
I'm quite sure that in previous edition, particularly red box and advanced (if I remember it correctly) elementals and lycanthropes couldn't be put to sleep magically, ...but what about in Fifth Edition?
Many Thanks!

Rules as Written, they should be able to be charmed; Elementals don't require sleep, but there's nothing that says they are immune to being charmed, nor are they undead; therefore, the magical sleep of the sleep spell would not be ignored.

Also, same with Lycanthropes; unless they are undead, or called out as being immune to charm, OR called out as being immune to magical sleep, they're susceptible.

Mcdonald is just mad be he can't sing at all. Because Earth, Wind and Fire snore beautifully.

Do you remember all the status conditions of slumber?
Sleep was puttin' 'em down like pretenders
While chasing elf werewolves away
Our spells were casting
And duration of spells were long-lasting
As we fought in the night
Remember how our swords stole their lives away
Hey hey hey
Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, castin' sleep spells in September
Ba de ya, never was a restful day
