Anti-Magic Fields and Bags of Holding??

Elocin

Lurker (sort of)
What happens to any magical item that holds other items in a magical dimensional space when said item comes under the effects of an Anti-Magic effect? Take for example a Bag of Holding. Does the contents of said bag spew out of the bag or does the bag just become inert and becomes a normal bag while within the anti-magic effect? Right now I have three party members caught in a trap using the Anti-magic Field spell and I am wondering what will happen to the Magic Bags, Gloves of Storing, Belt of Many Pouches that are being used. Would everything come spewing out and litter the floor, possibly breaking potions and the like?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You cannot access the contents of a bag of holding inside an antimagic field. Same thing for portable holes. belts of many pouches, and heward's handy haversacks.

I think gloves of storing would just eject the stored item, because they work on a different principle.

Some player is going to be bummin...

Mialee: "Ahhgh! The beholder turned buckle-boy to stone! Quick Jozan, hand me that "Stone to Flesh" scroll from the Haversack.

Jozan: "Make it stop looking at me first"

Mialee: "Is this one of those can't watch while peeing things?"

Funny, sounds like you have played with us before. Shortly after they have to deal with this Anti-Magic Field they then have to deal with a Beholder. I am so looking forward to this as I am aspriring to be a RBDM.

I'd rather deal with the beholder from within the anti-magic field since none of it's abilities will work =op. And if we wouldn't be able to lure the beholder to the anti-magic field then I'd personally staple it's big eye open and always stand in front of it =op
