Anime Weapons for DnD

questionmark

First Post
I was wondering if anyone has made some of the traditional Anime weapons for DnD?

I would be interested in seeing a DnD conversion for the following

1. The thin wire weapons that characters weild with their fingers in alot of anime.(Hellsing)

2. some type of fake hand crossbow or hand cannon type weapon.

3. the chain scythe thing ninjas are always bustin out

has anyone converted other stuff?

I know I've seen the Sickle-on-chain somewhere. Perhaps in Oriental Adventures, I'm not sure. And I vaguely remember the battle wire being somewhere as well, but I can't really remember where. I think the crossbow mounted to your arm would just be a normal hand crossbow...except mounted to your arm.

Sorry I can't be more help.

What would be really cool to see in D&D is that fake leg that converts to a hook, that the crazy old antagonist had in that one episode of Lupin III.

The Kusari Gami (Chain & Sickle) is in Oriental Adventures, among other places. I don't remember the stats for it off the top of my head, but it's a double weapon.

God knows how the heck those wires are supposed to work; the attack seems to be almost mystical in nature.

I'd like see a version of those funky whip swords that pop up every now and then (like Ivy's weapon from the Soul Calibur games).

My friend made a prestige class focused around the semi-magical usage of those wire things, unfortunately, I lost the link, and it wasn't for D&D, but rather some godawful message board RPG he participated in out of boredom and masochism.

For Ivy's weapon, there's an enchantment in one of the BoEMs that's called Reach and counts as a +1 enhancement. Basically standard action to make your weapon gain +5' reach (although in that form it has only horizontal/vertical reach, not diagonal for the purposes of AoOs and such).
