I don't know if linking to a Reddit post about this website will be against the forum rules (5e[dot]tools is considered piracy), so I won't do it, but I can tell you that if you do a quick Google search and find the post, there is an unofficial mirror online there. There is also an invite link for its Discord channel.

Hey everyone, does anyone else use https://5e.tools/ for reference? It looks like the website has been down and I was wondering if anyone has a mirror downloaded.
From the 5eTools discord, it seems the 5eTools people are having issues with their host server and have no control over it.

Easiest way to access their temporary official site is: 5etools This mirror is currently the most up-to-date version they have (even more than the download able version).

If you are paranoid about it being taken off the web, you could try downloading it (version 1.134.0 for now).

Zipped Site (without images): File on MEGA

Zipped Images (optional -7.47 GB of space required): File on MEGA

Guide for how to get these to work once downloaded:

Below are a few tweaks to the op instructions for python that worked for my windows machine (and chrome browser):

Extract the 5eTools.1.134.0.zip into a new folder called 5eTools.
Extract the images zip files, then navigate to the tmp/5et/ and copy and paste the img file into the ../5eTools/ folder you extracted from the other zip (looks like the screenshot in the op above).
After installing python, right-click on your desktop, create a new txt file. Open it and put in:

cd /d "PATH<folder right above 5eTools>"
start chrome.exe "http://localhost:8000/"
py -m http.server

For example, my path was cd /d "D:\OneDrive\5etools"
Save the file then rename the file extension to bat instead of txt. Double-click the bat file whenever you wish to use 5eTools on your machine -even without internet.
Unfortunately, you must keep the cmd window open while using the website.

Alternatively:
Click on Window's Start button
Type CMD, press enter (Open Command Prompt)
use the cd commands to navigate to where you extracted the files. (Command Prompt: 11 basic commands you should know (cd, dir, mkdir, etc.) | Digital Citizen)
When you reach the directory, type into the cmd prompt "py -m http.server"
Open a browser and type http://localhost:8000/ in the browser
