this is a test.

We're going to create 31 distinct types of rogues, using the rogue character class (3.5) and no Prestige classes.

Skills: Sleight of Hand, Open Lock, Seach, Disable Device, Move Silently, Hide, Climb, Listen, Forgery, Appraise.
Feats: Stealthy, Nimble Fingers, Improved Initiative, Weapon Finesse, Dodge, Skill Focus
Abilities: Skill Mastery, Defensive Roll

#3 Diplomat -- Master of Diplomacy, Bluff, Sense Motive, Gather Information, Knowledges, etc. Rogue works better than 3.0 Bard, but maybe not 3.5 Bard.

#4 Acrobat -- Balance, Climb, Jump, Escape Artist, Tumble, Rope Use, etc. Feats include Acrobatic, Athletic, etc.

#5 Athlete -- Almost identical to Acrobat above, just prefer Swim and Riding over Escape Artist and Rope Use. Believe it or not, a Rogue is better than Monk at athletics, barring Leap of the Clouds.

#6 Scout: Move Silently, Hide, Sense Motive, Climb, Jump, Swim, Balance, Knowlege: Geography, Ride. Feats include Endurance, Run, Athletic

-- Nifft

#7: Thug
Skills: Bluff, Gather Information, Intimidate, Use Rope
Feats: Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Unarmed Strike, Persuasive or Skill Focus (Intimidate), Toughness

#8: Spy
Skills: Hide, Move Silently, Disguise, Bluff, Forgery, Gather Information, Search
Feats: Deceitful, Stealthy, Investigator

EDIT: Beat me to #6!
