D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Warlock Feats...precise shot etc

I've been wanting to make a lvl 9 Warlock for a while now, but I can never find any good feats for em. So I looked onto this (and other) forums and I've found some good topics.

My question comes to this: Can a Warlock get the Point Blank shot feat (yes he can, i know that one is for sure)..then get precise shot, and rapid shot?

In this forums I've seen people mention that you can get Precise shot because the eldritch blast counts as a weapon. In the feat Many shot, if specifically states "arrows"...but in Rapid shot, it has the SAME wording as Precise shot and Point blank shot (the wording being "range attack" (which EB is 100%)...and "Ranged weapon" (which all forums say EB is too))...

So, for my Warlock (as a human so +1 feat), can I get these Feats:

1. Point Blank shot

2. Rapid Shot (gives me an extra attack, putting both at -2 per shot)

3. Psionic Meditation (makes it so i do not have to use a standard action to do a Psionic Focus DC20 check, but instead it a move action)

4. Psionic Shot...
5. Greater Psionic Shot (after making a DC check of 20 for Psionic Focus)...gives me +4d6 of damage for my next range attack)

does that work? or am i missing something or overlooking?

(oh, i can do psionic stuff without having to be a 'psionic' character, right? as long as i can get the DC checks off?)

I am trying to make my EBs better, either for damage, or more attacks. I do NOT want multiclass or make a PrC...straight up Basic Warlock...

oh and one more question...at lvl 9 i know 5 Invocations...but for some reason i cannot find out how many times i can cast them per day...is it infinate or something?

While you can qualify for Rapid shot and take it, you can't apply it's effect to the Warlock's eldritch blast.

And for Psionic feats, you have to be a Psionic PC, defined in the XPH (local abbreviation for Expanded Psionics Handbook) as having at least 1PSP as I recall. The Wild Talent feat gives you that.

PBS and Precise Shot are much less valuable at higher levels. I'd skip them.

Take Mortalbane from the BoVD. It grants +2d6 to the damage of an SLA 5/day, and is not an [Evil] feat.

Also, if I make my race an elan or xeph (or any other race from the psionic handbook), i automatically get ONE point...would that be exceptable? or I would still have to get the Wild Talent Feat?

I wasn't planning on getting precise shot, i was just using that as reference wording for rapid shots wording...but i did need to get PBS to get those psionic feats, its a PreReq...

but What is the BoVD? whats that stand for? The Mortalbane feat sounds really good.

Yes, Invocations are cast as at will as many times per day as you'd like.
You only ever get 3 of each type of invocation, though.

Eldritch Blast counts as a spell like ability. It can be used as different types of attacks based on the blast shape you're using, which can qualify it as a ranged weapon, a melee weapon, or other such attack.

Ranged Disarm is nice, as is Maximise and Empower Spell Like Ability (can be used together a number of times per day for maximised 1.5x damage on EB's).

Can always use Obtain Familiar as well. Warlocks count for caster levels.

Point Blank Shot is addressed in Complete Arcane (I think) and works for Ray Spells and Spell Like Abilities. Eldritch Blast's basic form is a Ray Spell Like, therefor it counts for PBS.

Rapid Shot does not get that distinction made for it, as it works only for ranged weapons and not spells or spell likes.

oh ok, i get it now. im sure i saw a feat that lets you add another ray to your attack? EB isnt a ray though right? its JUST a SLA, right?

Is there any feat that lets you do an extra SLA? or something close to it?

if not, I'm going to have to look into doing a melee Warlock (which i am trying to steer away from, my group already has 3 meleers and only 1 ranger). Getting that eldritch glaive ive heard so much about, also getting maybe that one feat eldritch claws or something...idk, i dont wanna do melee...

Well, it doesn't hurt to have melee as an option.

Here's an example build for your consideration.

Any feat that has "spell-like ability" in its name is OK to take, for example "Quicken spell-like ability". 3/day quicken an invocation, which can, but doesn't have to, be Eldritch Blast.
Also, you can take the Eldritch Chain blast shape invocation, which lets your EB leap to a second target after hitting the first. Nice for hurting and debuffing multiple enemies at once. Quite a good invocation for a blaster Warlock.
