It's OK, nothing incredibly interesting, but not as lame as the last revision spotlight on familiars.

I really think a new Bone Devil sould be in order, the actual one is OK but a fresh new look would be nice.

Why Devils' DR is only bypassed by good weapons and not chaotic weapons?

In stock D&D, the Good-Evil axis is more important than the Law-Chaos axis. Clerics have the positive/negative energy choice, we have "fiends" vs. "celestials" (with no corresponding words for lawful outsiders vs. chaotic ones), etc.

To find an example of a setting where Law vs. Chaos is more important you'd need to go to Moorcock's Melnibone (the source of that alignment axis).

I did notice that even though the CR increased by 3, they actually lowered the SR by 1. So at least there not making all the new monsters mage killers:D

Can I just say enough with the freakin' devils, already!

This is the third one. There are other monsters, you know.

I think the devils are the monsters they've chosen to "showcase" a la pre 3.5 release. You most likely will not see any other monster teasers other than them. But, July is slowly creeping up on us one day at a time.

The Blood Wars would be blood baths, moreso than they are already, if demons with their innate chaotic attacks could bypass a devil's damage reduction that effortlessly and vice versa (devil's innate lawful attacks versus a demon's damage reduction).

I hate the demon's and devil's abilty to call others of their kind. I mean, I REALLY despise this.

Why?

Say you want to challenge your party with a devil with a CR 2 or 3 levels above your average party level. Should be a good fight right? Well, if said devil manages to summon a buddy, you could have a TPK on your hands.

If you prepare for this, by choosing a lower CR devil, and it fails to summon it's buddy, the "boss" encounter is ruined as it is too easy.

heh, I just found my first rule 0...
