Yeah, the movie is amazing. I've only seen the first episode so far of the TV series, and although it does seem to be an interesting reboot of the story, it's missing the paranoia and confusion that was prominent in the original film. Part of the appeal of the film was that, as a viewer, you weren't sure if Bruce Willis was really time travelling or if Terry Gilliam, the director, who was obviously trying to mess with your head and perceptions, would pull the rug out from under you and make you realize that all you've been watching is what Willis, the psychiatric patient, was fantasizing about in his head.
The TV show seems to be a bit more straight forward.
I've only seen a moment of her at the end of the first episode, but the chick playing the crazy who inherits all the money seems to play a great part and be a worthy TV replacement for Brad Pitt's character in the original film.
