The creature in front of you seems to be the embodiement of evil. Its eyes, as well as every other part of its body, are completely black. A stench of evil seems to reek about it as it paces around, seemingly deciding what to do with you next. Its thick leathery wings flap up and down, but the dragon doesn't leave the earth.

The Obsidian Dragon is pure evil. Their hearts long for treasure, and they will use any means to get it. Most Obsidian Dragons were driven from their original home, the Plane of Baloria, former home of Hell, during the Draconic Planial Wars. They came to the Material Plane and found the treasure there much to their liking. So much, in fact, that when the Obsidian Dragons retook the Plane of Baloria during the Balor uprising, most elected to stay on the Material Plane.
The few that are left on the Plane of Baloria serve as mounts/fiendish servants for the Balor demons, a coexistence that is shaky, if not brutal at times, because of the Obsidian longing for gold and the Balor vow to protect their home plane from once again falling into the hands of Crystal Dragons and their riders, the Solar Angels.

COMBAT
The Obsidian Dragon hates frontal combat, preferring to kill creatures before they notice, using their three breath weapons in conjunction, as well as their inborn talents for melee combat.
Breath Weapon(Su)- The Obsidian Dragon has three types of breath weapon: a ray of Dark Lightning, a cone of Dark Fog, and a mist of Chaotic energy. The Dark Lightning is a 60-foot ray, following the normal rules of rays, that does 5d6 damage to anything that it hits, or 10d6 if they are good-aligned. The Cone of Dark Fog does no damage, but anyone within its 30 foot radius must attempt a DC 15 Fort Check folowed by a DC 20 Will check. If they fail either check, they become confused for 1d12 rounds afterward. Anyone who is Good-aligned must also make another DC 20 Will check or their alignment switches to Evil. The Mist of Chaotic Energy is a dangerous weapon indeed. It causes anyone Lawful-aligned within a 100-foot radius to make a DC 25 Will check or go into a Uncontrolled Rage, which is the same as a Barbarian mighty rage, except that the DM controls the character, and they will attack whoever is the closest to them, friend or foe. If no one is in their reach, the Uncontrolled Rage is over.
Obsidian Dragons can only use their Mist of Chaotic Energy once per day.

Aura of Evil(Au)- An aura surrounds the Obsidian Drgon, the same Aura of Evil that surrounds Hound Archons(except evil)

um.... you do know there's already an Obsidian Dragon, right? It was featured in one of the Many Legend of Sardior Articles in The Mind's Eye on WotC's website.
