If you have gotten the previous PF2 Starter Set digitally, maybe through a bundle, you also have access to the updated version on the Paizo store. Certain monsters were changed, in the module as well as the bestiary and feat names and spells were also updated.

I used a Gloomstalker with Rogue multiclass to kill a Beholder intended as a boss encounter before it could even act. Nearly killed it, another PC had to remove its last few hp, but that was still before the Beholder had its turn. That subclass is utterly broken.

The 3.0 FRCS is great. WotC could have done a proper FR setting book, similar to the Eberron one, instead of just the Sword Coast for 5e.

Most 5e 3PPs will rather release under CC-BY than the more demanding ORC. Many of them aren't interested in releasing Open Content and are afraid, that the ORC allows bigger publishers to steal their ideas, ignoring of course that Kobold Press won't be allowed to do that unless they release any...

There's also C7d20 from Cubicle 7 but they have yet to release anything for it.

That's somewhat misleading. The book isn't released under Creative Commons, but they are required to attribute the 5.1 SRD.

Not 5e in particular, legacy D&D stuff in general. At this point, I probably prefer 3rd and 4th edition to 5e. I can't think of anything specific to 5e that I'm missing in PF2. I liked 5e's third party support, but I liked the one of 3rd edition more. And the lack of 3rd party stuff is somewhat...

My only regular game is currently Pathfinder 2, but I'm really happy with it. Yes, losing iconic monsters hurts somewhat, but Pathfinder has been around for 15 years and created a menacing menagerie of its own.
