I'm a little sad that Undead Warlock didn't make it in. But the Undead Patron is new enough that it will probably port forward with no changes needed beyond adjusting the first subclass feature from 1st to 3rd level. And they even added skeleton to the Chain Pact options, though I haven't looked at the numbers to see if it's worth using.
I like the thematic spread of Fiend-Old One-Fey-Celestial: allows for a lot of diversity in Warlocks in terms of what kinds if Patron interactions can be expected.

I’m assuming they didn’t put the two Tasha subclasses in the UA because they are not up to be changed. The team feels they are already up to par with their current design philosophy. No point putting something in the UA that will not be changing regardless of feedback.
The design philosophy that they won't explain.

Watch the video if you want to know the Whys.
That's a ridiculous way to explain yourself. Most people are just to download the document. Its not like they're going to be any less opaque in the actual books at this rate. It seems arrogant to me, like you need to see their performance if you want to know why they're doing what they're doing, but really D&D is too successful for them to have to explain anything in the document people are most likely to read.

Does anyone know what to make of World Tree Barbarian? It's an odd collection of abilities. I mean, I guess you use the extra reach to stand in the backlines, where you can use Branches to pull enemies into a killbox or yank allies to safety? All while you're laying temp HP on the actual front line every round. Which I suppose would work, but it seems a bit weirdly specialized in gimmick and party composition.

The extra HP is sweet, and the root thing helps overcome the bane of Barbarians: range.
