"Split Class" Rogues

I came up with an idea for alternatives to Rogues or multi-class Rogues. It probably chucks game balance out the window, but here it is:

I came up with an idea for alternatives to Rogues or multi-class Rogues.

So if a Split-Class Rogue/Fighter takes his first six levels as a Rogue, and then takes his seventh as a fighter, does he get four bonus fighter feats (1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th) or none?

Totally unbalanced

So, you make a lvl11 rogue and give him one level of sorcerer and he can cast as a full score sorcerer?? Crazy. It's definitely not balanced since you would pick the levels where you get benefits and leave the ones where you don't get something.

I'm afraid I don't get it either.

As a 7th level character do you get all the benefits of both classes?

He get none. BUT he does get his BAB jumped up to +7/+2 and a much better Fort Save.

Ah, I don't think it makes *sense* but it seems like it might be fun to try out. See? This is what happens when you're stuck at home all day.
