In my opinion, yes. Is there a word that means more yes than "yes"? If so, I choose that word. This era of Shadowrun is hands down the best lore writing and worldbuilding that tabletop roleplaying has ever seen. Not only is it entertaining to read on its own just as fiction, but it's filled with inspiration for Shadowrun games even into the modern era of the setting. Plot hooks abound everywhere and it deepens your understanding of the history of the setting in a way where a lot of things happening in the current 2080s era make a lot more sense knowing the full background. On top of that, a lot of the books are useful outside of Shadowrun specifically. Corporate Shadowfiles is a brilliant book for any contemporary or cyberpunk setting as it goes in-depth in explaining how megacorporations function and the dirty tricks they pull (seriously, I learned more from this book about economics than I did from an entire college course on the subject). Cybertechnology will completely change how you look at cyberware for any cyberpunk setting as it turns them from a game mechanic into something that informs and defines a character. The pair of Paranormal Animals books are interesting re-examinations of classic monsters and cryptids with aspects that can be adapted into any other fantasy RPG (and the commentary...seriously, how can you not like a book on monsters where there are comment section discussions on how edible the monsters are). Universal Brotherhood and Aztlan Sourcebook answers the question "Yeah, but how scary can Lovecraftian horror be in an over-the-top cyberpunk world?" The answer is a lot. A lot scary. Of course, I'm a bit of a biased source, but yes, I feel you can get more than your money value out of the bundle without ever once touching the rules system.
