Level Up (A5E) Perceptive Stance Maneuver: +3 or +6 to passive perception?

RAW it's actually just reiterating that having an expertise die to a skill adds a +3 flat to passive. This was already stated in another forum thread on this same topic by Morrus himself. He did say a scaling bonus for additional expertise die probably wouldn't hurt anything either, but RAW it was a single +3 bonus & the stance only adds the expertise die.

Since my post was from over one year and half ago, I had to check what we where even discussing. In any case, I found it written unclearly, but since we all agree that it should be +3, we should be good.

Yeah, the designer part of my brain says +3, but the grammarian part says +6. I think this could have been avoided by simply saying “You gain an expertise die which increases your passive by 3.”

This has come up a few times on the Discord as well. RAW it is +6 (assuming you don't already have expertise in perception) but iirc the official RAI by Morrus has been +3.

A lot of language in the book could use cleaning up.
