Most famous (or infamous) among this courtly cast of casters is Voyaume D'Amandre. However, with a notorious reputation of alleged affairs and embezzlement—and rightly so—D’Amandre rarely remains in the service of a single court for very long. Regardless of scandal, however, his contributions to the magical word can’t be denied, and detailed here are but a handful of his work. By Jagger A Dillon.</p><h3>Tinker, Tailor: Artisan Artificers</h3><p>Though artificers are often associated with technological marvels and modern inventions beyond the wildest dreams, artifice takes many forms. Some opt to divert their creative energies into less overtly technological endeavors, adapting their arcano-science to a wide variety of endeavors. While these “artisan artificers” are often less bombastic than their more science-oriented fellows, their clever inventions are no less useful—or dangerous.
